We’ve been out and about throughout July, attending events and raising awareness of the products and services we can offer.
On 19 July, we exhibited at Royal Bournemouth Hospital at Vision 2018 to let people know how our technology can help those affected by sight loss.
It was a busy event with lots of visitors enquiring about the equipment we offer to help them feel reassured when they go out alone in the community.
It was great to meet and learn more from International Glaucoma Association, Macular Society, RNIB Assistive technology support, Bournemouth Blind Society, Dorset Blind Association, Guide Dogs, Bournemouth Eye Unit and Blind Veterans UK.
Emergency Services Family Fun Day
On 21 July, we attended the Emergency Services Family Fun Day at Kings Park, Bournemouth.
It was a beautiful day aimed at educating children in a fun way about the amazing work the emergency services do.
We demonstrated our assistive technology to young children so that they understood the part that 999 play when a personal alarm pendant is pressed.
It was great to give the children and their parents an awareness of how the personal alarm can help older relatives or neighbours.
